Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed very well with trailing edge dimmers. No static flicker or shimmer while fading between levels was observed. While the profile was generally smooth there was a slight step towards the bottom of the dimming profile. The lamps could also be made to turn on inconsistently with one another paticularly when being turned on at the minimum level.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.

Notes

Not recommended for use with RML-500: the lamp flashes violently at the bottom of the dimming range.
