Dimming Performance
RMT-500- Minimum brightness from off: 3% Minimum brightness from max: 3% RML-500- Minimum brightness from off: 2% Minimum brightness from max: 2% RAK-4T- Minimum brightness from off: 4% Minimum brightness from max: 4% RMT-Pill- Minimum brightness from off: 14% Minimum brightness from max: 4%
Smoothness of Dimming
No shimmer while fading was observed when tested with any dimmer. With the exception of the RMT-Pill all trailing edge dimmers flicker slightly at maximum output. While the dimming profile was in general smooth and continuous with trailing edge dimmers some steps could be seen as the dimmer approached maximum output. With trailing edge dimmers there was some inconsistency between fittings when turned on at the minimum level.
Audible Noise
The RMT and RML both buzz when dimming.
Notes
With the RMT500 and RAK4-T scenes should be set to a maximum level of 95% to avoid flickering at maximum output.
