Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed considerably better with trailing as opposed to leading edge dimmers. With trailing edge dimmers no static flikcer was observed at any output level and only a slight shimmer while fading between levels could be seen. With leading edge dimmers the lamp flickered at the minimum level and the lamp flickered violently while fading between levels. In all cases, the profile was smooth and continuous.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.
