Smoothness of Dimming

With trailing edge dimmers this lamp and ballast combination performed reasonably well with no static flicker observed at any output level. There was a noticeable shimmer while fading between levels observed when tested with the RMT-500 and the RAK4-T. The profile was generally smooth with no significant steps or jumps although they did turn on abruptly when initially turning on.

Audible Noise

Noticeable buzz when tested with all dimmers.

Notes

Not recommended for use with leading edge dimmers. When tested with a single fitting/driver the lamp remains illuminated when the dimmer is in the "Off" state. Trailing edge dimmers were given a maximum rating of "Very Good" due to the noticeable buzzing.
