Smoothness of Dimming

This fitting performed reasonably with all dimmers although there was notable problems with both trailing and leasing edge dimmers. With the RMT-500/WMT-400 there was a static flicker at the very minimum output. With all trailing edge dimmers there was a very noticeable step/flash as the lamp approached maximum output. With trailing edge dimmers there was no shimmer while fading between levels. With leading edge dimmers while there was no static flicker there was a noticeable shimmer while fading between levels and the lamps turned on inconsistently with one another.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.
