Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp had several significant issues in visual performance. The lamp flickered at the minimum output level and a very noticeable shimmer could be observed while fading between levels. While the profile was steppy it was evenly spread across the dimmer output range.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.

Notes

This lamp cannot be recommended for use with leading edge dimmers as the lamp stays on when the dimmer is in the off state.
