Smoothness of Dimming

No flicker was observed while the lamp was set at any brightness. A very slight flicker was observed when fading between mid level dimming settings but these are subtle and do not detract greatly from the overall dimming performance. The dimming profile was smooth with no major steps and the relationship between dimmer output and light output was consistent.

Audible Noise

No audible noise from fitting when used with any dimmer

Notes

The rating of "good" is given to this lamp with the RML500 due to the very high peak currents observed. This means only a very low max number of units can be advised. This rating is not because of any deficiency in visual performance.
