Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp in general performed well with all dimmers, although performance with trailing edge dimmers was better. No flicker at any static output level was observed with any dimmer. With all dimmers there was some visible shimmer while fading between levels, this was notable worse with leading rather than trailing edge dimmers. The dimming profile was relatively linear with no noticeable jumps or big steps.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any dimmer.
