Smoothness of Dimming

This lamps all round visual performance was very good. No flicker was observable at any static output level. However on close examination a slight flicker was observed while fading between the mid range levels. There is also a noticeable step around this section of the dimming profile although this can be alleviated using the profile editor. These slight imperfections seem to be related to when the lamp transitions from its 2800K dimming range to its 1800K dimming range.

Audible Noise

No noise when used with any dimmer

Notes

The rating of "good" is given to this lamp with the RML500 due to the very high peak currents observed. This means only a very low max number of units can be advised. This rating is not because of any deficiency in visual performance.
