Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed very well with all dimmers. No static flicker or shimmer while fading was observed at any point in the output range. With trailing edge dimmers when turned on at the minimum level it was possible to make the lamps behave inconsistently with one another.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.

Notes

This lamp would achieve an "excellent" rating were it not for the high peak current which means only 8 lamps can be used per dimmer.
