Smoothness of Dimming

In general, these lamps performed very well with trailing edge dimmers. No flicker was seen at any static output level. Some shimmer while fading was visible as the lamp approached minimum output. While the profile, in general, was smooth and linear it was reasonably grouped towards the bottom end of the output range

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with recommended dimmers.

Notes

This lamp cannot be recommended for use with leading edge dimmers as they do not turn off.
