Smoothness of Dimming

When tested with all dimmers there is a significant area of flashing between 20% and 40% brightness. This flashing is very visible when fading from off to maximum output with the default fade rate. Shimmer while fading between levels was observed throughout the dimming range.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any dimmer.

Notes

Not suitable for leading edge dimmers due to very high peak currents and a particularly bad area of flashing in the bottom third of the dimmer output (considerably worse that with trailing edge).
