Smoothness of Dimming

These comments relate only to trailing edge dimming, the lamp is not designed for use with leading edge dimmers.This lamp is very similar to the 3W version as it dims to 1-2% of maximum output with most of the dimming again grouped in the bottom 25% of the output range. However it does not have the same flicker when dimmed to a low level. All lamps perform consistently with one another and there is no strobe or shimmer present,.

Audible Noise

No audible noise from lamp or dimmer.
