Smoothness of Dimming

When used with trailing edge dimmers this lamp performs well. No flicker was observed at any output level although small steps or shimmer can be seen when fading between levels. This shimmer while fading is more noticeable in he bottom half of the dimming range. The dimming profile itself was in general linear and smooth with no big steps visible. The majority of the dimming occurs between 10% and 40% of dimmer output.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when used with any compatible dimmer.

Notes

When used with an RMT a minimum load of 2 fittings is required, lamp does not turn off when only a single lamp is used. Not suitable for use with leading edge dimmers.
