Smoothness of Dimming

When tested with trailing edge dimmers this lamp performed very well. There was no flicker at any output level and no significant steps in the dimming profile. The only significant area of criticism is that the turn on was rather abrupt and the dimming was mainly grouped in the bottom half of the output range. When used with a leading edge dimmer this lamp and driver combination performed less well. The lamp flickered gently in the bottom of the output range.
