Smoothness of Dimming

When tested with trailing edge dimmers this lamp performed reasonably well. No flicker was observed when the light output was static at any level and there were no big steps or jumps in the dimming profile. The lamp does shimmer very noticeably while fading between levels (very small steps) and the dimming range is grouped between 20-50% of dimmer output.

Audible Noise

No audile noise when tested with any recommended dimmers.

Notes

Only suitable for trailing edge dimmers, when used with leading edge dimmers lamp is on in off state.
