Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp and driver combination performed fairly well with trailing edge dimmers although there were some areas of criticism across the board. No static flicker was observed at any output level but there was a noticeable shimmer while fading between levels. This shimmer while fading between levels was least significant when tested with the WMT-400, fairly significant when tested with the RMT-500/RAK4-T and most significant when tested with the RML-500. With all dimmers there was a step in the dimming profile at around the mid-point of the output range. The lamps sometimes were inconsistent with one another as they turned on with trailing edge dimmers and always inconsistent with one another when tested with leading edge dimmers.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.
