Smoothness of Dimming

When dimmed below around 10% of the maximum output this lamp flickers violently. This lamp is not advisable for use when very low light levels are required. Above this point the lamp performs well in general. There are no significant steps in the dimming profile. The relationship between dimmer output and light output shows a good degree of proportionality. Both lamps performed consistently with one another throughout testing.

These lamps should be used with trailing edge dimmers only. When used with leading edge the lamp flickers when dimmed below 60%
