Smoothness of Dimming

No static flicker was observed at any output level. With trailing edge dimmers a slight shimmer can be seen when fading between levels at a low output level. The majority of the dimming occurs between 20% and 40% of dimmer output. With leading edge dimmers the profile is not smooth and several big steps are visible.

Audible Noise

Audible buzz while fading and at dimmed levels when tested with all dimmers.

Notes

This lamp can only be rated as "neutral" due to the audible buzz from the bulb when dimmed.
