Smoothness of Dimming

When tested with all dimmers no static flicker or shimmer while fading was observed. The profile did have large steps noticeable when fading from off to max and was generally fairly uneven as the majority of the change in light output was grouped in a small change of dimmer output.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any dimmer

Notes

When tested with a single bulb on a leading edge dimmer the bulb did not turn off. This is a minimum load problem solved by putting an axial resistor across the dimmer output. As only one bulb was provided for testing it is not possible to provide an accurate estimate of the minimum number of bulbs required when a leading edge dimmer is used and dummy load fitted.
