Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed very well with trailing edge dimmers. No static flicker was observed at any output and the lamp did not shimmer while fading between levels. While the profile was smooth the dimming was heavily grouped towards the top end of the dimmer output.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any dimmer

Notes

It is not possible to recommend this lamp for use with leading edge dimmers as the lamp flickers at maximum output. Adding additional loads does fix this problem.
