Smoothness of Dimming

The all round visual performance of this lamp when tested with both leading and trailing edge dimmers was excellent. No flicker was observed at any output level and no shimmer could be seen while fading between levels. When turned on the lamp initially comes on very dim before starting the main dimming profile meaning the it seems to "step on". The profile itself, while somewhat bottom heavy, was smooth with no significant steps visible at any point in the output range (aside form turn on). It i

Visually this lamp performs to an excellent standard, however as a minimum output of only 10% is achieved the lamp can be only be rated as good overall.
