Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp and driver performed reasonably well with all trailing edge dimmers. However, there was a noticeable flicker when on at the minimum level with all dimmers. Shimmer while fading between levels was seen with the RMT-500/RML-500/RAK4-T but not with the WMT-400. The profile was smooth and continuous with all tested dimmers.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.

Notes

"1 tested" refers to 2 fittings series wired in to a single driver. The stated "Probable Maximum Units" refers to the number of drivers not fittings. This lamp and driver combination cannot be recommended for use with leading edge dimmers as when tested with only a single driver the light remained on while the dimmer was in the off state.
