Smoothness of Dimming

When used with trailing edge dimmers this lamp performed well. No flicker was observed at any static output level. When fading between levels (approx. off-30%) the lamp shimmered noticeable. The profile was in general smooth with no big steps in the output range.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when used with recommended dimmers.

Notes

Not recommended for use with leading edge dimmers. Lamp flashes very noticeable when dimming below around 20%.
