Smoothness of Dimming

In general this lamp performed very well across the full range of dimmers and paticularly well with trailing edge dimmers. No static flicker was observed at any output level with any dimmers. The lamp shimmered while fading between levels, this was more noticable with leading as opposed to trailing edge dimmers. With trailing edge dimmers the profile was smooth and continuous with only one noticeable step. With leading edge dimmers the profile had several jumps and steps.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.

Notes

Only one driver was tested so the "excellent" rating is conditional on visual performance being maintained when multiple drivers are used per dimmer. Refer to rating of RMT500 for WMT400 rating.
