Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp and driver combination performed very well with most dimmers with no static flicker observed at any output level. There was a visible shimmer while fading between levels with all dimmers except the WMT-400, this problem was most noticeable when tested with the the RML-500. This shimmer was most visible as the lamps approached the minimum level. The profile was generally smooth and continuous and the lamps behaved consistently with one another.

Audible Noise

Audible buzz when tested with leading edge dimmers. No buzz when tested with trailing edge dimmers.
