Smoothness of Dimming

When tested with trailing edge dimmers the visual performance of this lamp was excellent. No flicker was observed at any output level and there was no shimmer while fading between levels. The profile in general was good, relating dimmer output to light output linearly and proportionally. A couple of small steps were visible when dimming from off to maximum but they are fairly subtle.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when used with any recommended dimmer.

Notes

Not suitable for leading edge dimmers, lamp does not turn off.
