Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed fairly well with all dimmers, the problems described were more pronounced with leading edge as opposed to trailing edge dimmers. While no static flicker was observed at any output level a very significant shimmer could be seen while fading between levels. While the profile was reasonably linear it was significantly grouped towards the bottom end of the dimmer output range.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.
