Smoothness of Dimming

In general, this fitting performed very well with all dimmer types tested. No static flicker was observed at any output level. With trailing edge dimmers no shimmer could be seen while fading between level but this was observed with the RML500. While the profile was generally smooth and continuous a slight step could be seen with all dimmers as the lamp approached maximum output.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.
