Smoothness of Dimming

When tested with trailing edge dimmer there was no static flicker at any output level or shimmer while fading between levels. However, with trailing edge dimmers the lamps fired inconsistently with one another when turned on at a low level. With leading edge dimmers there was a noticeable shimmer while fading between levels. With all dimmers there was a flash as the lamp approached maximum output, this could be mitigated via scene setting.

Audible Noise

No audible noise from any recommended dimmer.
