Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed reasonable well with trailing edge dimmers although there were several areas of criticism. A static flicker was visible at the minimum output level although this could be mitigated by only setting scenes about this level. With the RMT-500/RAK4-T there was a noticeable shimmer while fading between levels, this was not observed with the WMT-400. While the profile was generally smooth and continuous there was a noticeable step towards the bottom of the dimmers output range.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.

Notes

This lamp cannot be recommended for use leading edge dimmers as the lamp flashes at a variety of static dimmed levels.
