Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp and driver combination have issues when switching on. When tested with trailing edge dimmers the lamp will not activate until around 35% of dimmer output and gives a small flash at the point of turn on. With leading edge the lamp fires at around 2% but flashes violently. Aside from this the lamp flickers when fading between lighting levels, this problem is significantly worse when used with the RML rather than the trailing edge dimmers. Despite the limited dimming range it is advised that this driver and fitting combination is used with trailing edge. This is because the turn on flash when used with leading edge is much worse.
