Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp in general performed very well with all dimmers. No static flicker or shimmer while fading was observed at any level with trailing edge dimmers. With leading edge dimmers only a small shimmer while fading was seen when approaching the minimum output level. The profile in general was smooth with no large steps although with trailing edge dimmers a small step could be seen when fading up to maximum output. The only significant area of criticism was the inconsistency of turn on at the minimum level where some lamps would turn on before others.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any dimmer.

Notes

Only a rating of "good" can be given when used wit the RMT-Pill due to the relatively high minimum output.
