Smoothness of Dimming

In general this lamp performed very well with all dimmers. At the very minimum level the fitting does flicker but the minimum level at which it does not flicker is still below 1% of maximum output. Aside from this no shimmer or steps were observed when fading between levels and the profile in general was smooth. The dimming is grouped towards the bottom of the output range, this could be rectified by using a custom profile.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any dimmer.

Notes

The visual performance of this lamp when used with the RMT-Pill is no worse than with any other dimmer. The rating of "good" rather than "very good" is given because of the 10% minimum dimmed level.
