Smoothness of Dimming

When used with trailing edge dimmers this lamp flickers when dimmed below approximately 4% of maximum output. This flicker is significant enough that the lamp is not usable when dimmed below this level. Aside from this the lamp performed well visually with no noticeable steps when dimming from off to max. The relationship between dimmer output and light output was proportional and linear.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when used with any dimmer
