Smoothness of Dimming

When tested with trailing edge dimmers this lamp performed very well in general. No flicker or shimmer was observed at any output level nor while fading between levels. There were no significant steps in the dimming profile but it was noticeable that the majority of the dimming occurred between 0-20% of the dimmer output. When tested with leading edge dimmers the lamp flashed violently between 10-30% of dimmer output.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when used with any dimmer.

Only advised for trailing edge use. Lamp flashes violently at some output levels when used with leading edge.
