Smoothness of Dimming

While there was no flicker at the minimum output once the lamp reached the maximum output level a slight flash was observed. There was also noticeable shimmer while fading between levels with all dimmers although this was more obvious with leading edge dimmers. While the profile was fairly evenly distributed across the dimmer output there was a noticeable step around the midpoint of dimming.

Audible Noise

No audible noise with any recommended dimmer.
