Smoothness of Dimming

Overall the visual performance of this lamp was very good. No flicker was observed at any output level but small steps, or shimmer, could be seen while fading between different dimmed levels. This was particularly noticeable at the bottom end of the output range. The profile was linear with no large jumps or steps and the relationship between dimmer output and light output was proportional and linear.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when used with any dimmer

Not suitable for leading edge dimming: lamp does not turn off.
