Smoothness of Dimming

There were a number of areas of criticism for this lamp. However more problems were observed with leading edge as opposed to trailing edge dimmers. No static flicker was observed at any output level. There was a slight shimmer while fading between levels when tested with the RMT-500, RML-500 and RAK4-T. There was a step up when dimming from the minimum level when testing with the WMT-400. All trailing edge dimmers performed consistently with one another whereas the RML-500 were inconsistent with another as they turned on.

Audible Noise

The RML-500 buzzes throughout the dimming range.
