Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed fairly well with all trailing edge dimmers. At the very minimum level it was possible to make this lamp flicker with all dimmers, although this problem could be easily mitigated by not setting scenes at the very minimum level. With trailing edge dimmers there was no shimmer while fading between levels, with the RML-500 a mild shimmer was visible. There was some inconsistency between fittings as they turned on at the very minimum level.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.
