Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed very well with all tested dimmers. No static flicker or shimmer while fading between levels was observed at any output level. The only significant area of criticism is the visible step that can be seen as the tape approaches maximum output.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.
