Smoothness of Dimming

In general this lamp performed very well with all dimmers. No static flicker or shimmer while fading was observed at any output level when tested with any dimmer. While most of the dimming profile is smooth it is heavily grouped towards the bottom end of the dimming range. There is also a large step visible at the top of the output range, this large step is more noticeable on leading rather than trailing edge dimmers. The "turn on" appears abrupt with all dimmers and is inconsistent when turned on at the minimum level with leading edge dimmers.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with trailing edge dimmers. Noticeable buzz when used with RML500.
