Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp and driver combination performed well across all dimmers. No static flicker was observed at any output level (see notes) but the lamp can be made to flash at the very minimum output level. Only a very slight shimmer could be seen while fading between levels, this was more noticeable with leading edge dimmers. The profile, in general, was smooth, continuous and evenly distributed across the dimming range.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any dimmer.

Notes

A minimum of 2 lamps should be used per circuit. When only one lamp is used the fitting flashes in the range 25-28% of maximum output.
