Smoothness of Dimming

With trailing edge dimmers this lamp performed very well. The profile was smooth and continuous and no static flicker was observed at any output level. The only area of criticism is that the lamp flickered slightly while fading as it approached the minimum level.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer

Notes

This fitting and driver combination cannot be recommended for use with leading edge dimmers. When the dimmer is turned off the lamp flashes violently. This is almost certainly a minimum loading issue but it is not possible to say for certain as only one lamp was sent in for testing.
