Smoothness of Dimming

When used with trailing edge dimmers this lamp performed fairly well despite only dimming to between 2% and 6% of maximum output. No flicker was observed at any static light level. The lamp did shimmer slightly while fading between levels with this being more noticeable in the lower output range. There were no large steps in the dimming profile and in general dimmer output related accurately to light output. This fitting and driver combination produced a very noisy current signal.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when used with any dimmer
