Smoothness of Dimming

RMT/Rak4-T: All round very good visual performance no significant flickering, no strobing. Large step between very bottom of output and main dimming range. RDL: significant flickering in bottom 20% of output, no strobing, large step between very bottom of output and main dimming range as with trailing edge dimmers but even more pronounced.

Audible Noise

No noise with trailing edge, significant noise from ballast with leading edge.

Notes

Very large peak current with RDL500, seemed to operate fine with 13 fittings tested but unable to recommend any more without further testing,
