Smoothness of Dimming

In general this lamp performed well with no static flicker or shimmer while fading with any trailing edge dimmer. Shimmer while fading could be observed when tested with the RML500. While the profile was in general smooth and continuous a bottom end dead zone was present with most the lamp turning at around 20% of dimmer output. With the RMT500 as the lamp approached maximum output a flash could be seen.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any dimmer

Notes

To mitigate the flash at the top of the output range with the RMT500 scenes should be set to 80% or less on the channel slider. The rating of "very good" on the condition scenes are set below this point.
