Smoothness of Dimming

This lamp performed fairly well with all dimmers with no static flicker observed at any output level. With trailing edge dimmers there was only a very slight shimmer while fading between levels, with leading edge dimmers this problem was a lot more noticeable. While the profile was reasonably smooth there was a noticeable step at the top of the output range.

Audible Noise

No audible noise when tested with any recommended dimmer.
