Smoothness of Dimming

No flicker when used with either leading or trailing edge dimmers when static at any output level. However, large steps in the dimming profile were observed with all dimmers, this being more noticeable with leading rather than trailing edge dimmers. While these steps made the lamp appear to fade unevenly from off to max this is a relatively minor criticism.

Due to the extremely noisy nature of the signal observed with trailing edge an accurate estimate of maximum number of fittings per dimmer is difficult to ascertain. A conservative estimate for this value for the RMT and RAK4-T is given.
