Smoothness of Dimming

When tested with trailing edge dimmers the visual performance of this lamp and driver was very good. No flicker was observed at any static output level and no shimmer was seen while fading between levels. With leading edge dimmers a shimmer while fading was visible. The dimming profile was in general very good, only one small step was noticeable while fading through the entire dimming profile. When used with trailing edge dimmers a slight pulse seems to occur when the lamp reaches maximum.

Audible Noise

Ballast buzzes when used with leading edge. No audible noise when used with trailing edge.
